Refund & Cancellation Policy

DrawBid.com is committed to fair and transparent refund practices. This policy explains exactly when refunds are issued, how they are processed, and what participants and organisers can expect. We want every person on this platform to feel confident putting money in — and confident they can get it back if something goes wrong.

2.1 If a draw is cancelled by the organiser

• All ticket purchases are refunded in full
• Refunds are credited to the participant's DrawBid Wallet within 3 business days
• No claim, form, or contact is required — this happens automatically
• Payment processing fees (if any were charged at deposit) are not refunded as these are third-party costs

2.2 If a draw does not reach its minimum ticket sales

• If the organiser has set a minimum ticket count and it is not reached by the draw date, all tickets are refunded
• Refund process is automatic — within 3 business days to DrawBid Wallet

2.3 If a draw is postponed

• Tickets remain valid for the new draw date
• If a participant no longer wishes to participate after postponement, they may contact support within 48 hours of the postponement announcement to request a refund
• After 48 hours, tickets are non-refundable unless the draw is cancelled entirely

2.4 After a draw is executed

• Non-winning tickets are not refundable — this is the nature of a prize draw
• Draw results are final once published

3.1 ALL_OR_NOTHING campaigns

• If the funding goal is not reached by the campaign end date, all contributions are refunded in full
• Refunds are automatic — credited to DrawBid Wallet within 3 business days
• No action required from contributors

3.2 FLEXIBLE campaigns (funds raised regardless of goal)

• Contributions to flexible campaigns are non-refundable once submitted
• Exception: if a flexible campaign is cancelled by the organiser before any funds are disbursed, contributions are refunded in full

3.3 General contributions

• Voluntary donations and contributions are generally non-refundable once a campaign is active and funded
• If you made a contribution in error, contact support within 24 hours — we will assess on a case-by-case basis

4.1 Outbid situations

• If you are outbid on an auction item, any escrowed funds are released back to your DrawBid Wallet immediately
• No fees apply to released escrow

4.2 Cancelled auctions

• If an auction item is withdrawn or the auction is cancelled, all bids are released in full to bidders' DrawBid Wallets
• The 5% buyer premium is only charged upon a successful winning bid — cancelled auctions attract no buyer premium

4.3 After winning a bid

• Once a bid is confirmed as the winning bid and the buyer premium is processed, the transaction is final
• If the seller cannot deliver the item, DrawBid will facilitate a full refund including the buyer premium

To withdraw your wallet balance to your bank account:

• KYC verification must be completed
• Standard bank transfer processing time: 1–5 business days
• A small bank transfer fee applies (shown before you confirm — typically K2–K5 flat or a small percentage)
• Wallet-to-wallet transfers within DrawBid are free and instant

• Prize claim: Free
• Refund processing: Free
• Wallet top-up refunds: Free
• Cancelled campaign refunds: Free (automatic)
• Outbid escrow release: Free

DrawBid separates its platform fees from payment processing costs. Payment processing fees (charged by banks and payment gateways) are third-party costs and are generally non-refundable when a refund is issued. These costs are:

• BSP Pay / mobile: typically 0.8% of deposit amount
• Card / IPG payments: typically 2–2.5% of deposit amount
• Manual bank transfer: free if auto-reconciled; K1–K2 if manual verification needed
• Wallet balance spending: no payment fee

The DrawBid platform fee (5% draw, 5% auction buyer premium, 2.5% fundraiser) is only charged on successful campaigns — it is never pre-deducted from deposits.

Most refunds are automatic. If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has not been processed:

• Check your DrawBid Wallet — the refund may already be there
• Contact support at support@drawbid.com with your account email and campaign details
• We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve within 10 business days
